Research on type design
Through research, I discovered the difference between uppercase and lowercase and the difference between serif fonts. For example, European, because it is far away and has a relatively small area, it is correspondingly a little larger than other letters. Letters, if embellished, are slightly taller than the letters themselves.

As shown in the image above, typographic guidelines such as baseline, median, riser, and fall must be adhered to during the type design process. We should pay attention to these while creating sketches.
Task2 :Exercise-Digital Fonts
Mr. Vinod asked us to do task 3. We need to use 3 kinds of markers on graph paper, write ODHNG in different fonts and observe the different writing styles of each pen.

I use future book font for alphabet analysis. It is found that all the vertical widths of the letters are the same, and the highest point of the circle in the o g b is at the same horizontal line. The radians of the letter g can not be represented by circles but can only be represented by rounded rectangles. The radians of the letter g can not be represented by circles but can only be represented by rounded rectangles.

After completing the font design on Illustration, I started using fontlab to develop and export the installed fonts, and modify the spacing between letters.

Exported my font, I named it "Round font" and installed it on my computer system, creating the white and black posters.

FEEDBACK
WEEK9 FEEDBACK
-General Feedback:In the sketch using the brush, choose the best sketch to draw.
-Specific Feedback: I can use a round-tip brush to draw a sketch as a template. Ms. Xin thinks that I need the decoration of each font to be round. To maintain this feature, the font size should be consistent. The lower part of the G font should be kept within the entire letter half the size is more suitable
WEEK10 FEEDBACK
-General Feedback:The font may have been slightly changed, but it's not up to par or not very good.
-Specific Feedback:Ms. Xin suggested that I could start a new design and design it closer to my draft content. It would be better and it would be a completely new font design.
WEEK11 FEEDBACK
-General Feedback:The overall font is simple, neat, and rounded, but it needs to be slightly modified.
-Specific Feedback:Ms. Xin thinks that the middle part of my letter E should leak out a little, so that the overall look will be more beautiful. The curves of my s and c should be smoother and not too square.
REFIECTION
This font design tells me how to create a new font and use a new software to design a font of my own that can be used in all other software. the specifications for letter design include the Radian of the circle and the middle part of the letter should account for half of the size of all letters, such as the representative letters G and E, the middle horizontal part of it. Both width and height should be in the middle of the whole letter, which is the most comfortable visual effect, which is a very new and interesting thing for me and a great sense of achievement.

The applicable type of fonts will change over time. If you don't do this, it will change and may cause a lot of trouble. This also tells us to use font types correctly.
