IDEAS PROPOSAL
We held a group meeting to discuss potential ideas for project proposals. We finally decided to take Chinese culture consisting of paper-cut culture, Yun Jin Han fu and Buddhist culture Thangka as our research theme. The reason why we chose Chinese culture is because we are international students from China. We have a deeper and more familiar understanding of Chinese culture. At the same time, we can promote and study some well-known Chinese culture through this project, and Chinese culture There are many choices, making it easy to find research topics of interest.
The 6 of us were divided into 3 groups, with 2 people in each group, and we divided the work to search for the topics we proposed.

After the final report, the instructor chose Yun Jin Han fu as the theme for our group and asked us to submit data collection on Yun Jin Han fu before next week.
DATA COLLECTION
1.Internet research
We searched the Internet for the historical background and traditional styles of Yun Jin Han Fu.
Through Internet search, we learned about the origin and origin of Yun Jin Han Fu as a traditional Chinese costume. It is recognized as a world intangible cultural heritage and its historical significance is ancient.
Fig2.1 Wikipedia of Yun Jin
Yun Jin is a traditional Chinese jacquard silk brocade and a specialty of Nanjing. Yun Jin has a history of about 1,600 years.

2.Physical research
We studied some actual Han fu, including typical Han fu, chest-length shirts and skirts, and horse-faced groups. We can truly feel the materials and texture of Han fu so that we can better understand the structure of Han fu. Because I own a lot of Han fu and like to wear Han fu myself, I am responsible for this part of the research.
3.Interview
We interviewed Mr. Chen, an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage from Jiangsu, China. He has loved Yun Jin brocade culture since he was a child, so he began to learn Yun Jin brocade handcrafting from an early age. He is now the inheritor of Nanjing Yun Jin, a world intangible cultural heritage.
Fig2.5 Profile
Through interviews, we learned that the purpose of their works is to inherit the Yun Jin intangible cultural heritage culture, pursue spiritual and meaningful works, and create the emanation of the Yun Jin soul that will never break. Let more people know him.
Use inherited technology to reproduce modern tastes and boldly innovate in a modern environment. Show the beauty of creation.
Final Outcome
FINAL PROJECT: VISUAL DESIGN OUTCOME
After group discussion, we decided that the final output would be a bookmark designed with Yun Jin elements.
Fig3.3 Sketches of the bookmark
We submitted two sketches to Miss.Maria, and received feedback that we should choose the second sketch and that we need to carry out packaging design.
I draw the bookmarks and then someone else prints them out. Because this bookmark is generated from the pattern of cloud brocade, blue butterfly and cloud brocade, which has an allusion to Zhuang Zhou dreaming of butterflies, so I used classical dreamy colors to draw this bookmark.
This is the finished packaging design of the box.

FEEDBACK
Week 4:
After submitting the ideas proposal, the final feedback I received was to use proposal 2, Yun Jin Han fu.
Week 5:
miss.maria told us that our data collection needs to focus more on Yun Jin, rather than all Han fu. Moreover, a detailed interview process is not required, but the personal information of the interviewee and a summary of the interview are required.
Week 6:

Week 6:
This is the last week, miss.maria has taken one of our bookmark Sketches and given feedback that we need a packaging design for the bookmark.
REFLECTION
In this module, the group members are very proactive and contribute their own strength. Everyone will try their best to do what they are good at and are very responsible. Everyone will discuss the project content together and solve problems together. The communication is very smooth. I am very happy to follow My group members collaborate. During this module, I learned how to share project content in groups, dismantle modules and assign tasks. At the same time, I realized that different countries have different perceptions of different cultures. Everyone likes the Yunjin pattern very much.
